Description
Expanding Square with a spot colour.
The Expanding Squares series was one of the first set of drawings made with the drawing machine. Starting from the centre of the paper, the machine is slowly pushing the pen, spiralling outwards by moving the motors forward then backward in a sequence, increasing the length of lines to draw after each cycle.
This variation is adding a spot colour from the centre of the main square.
The lines made in those drawing varies from one iteration to the next, making each drawing unique. The images shown on the website are of each unique drawing and are being updated regularly.
All our drawings are made with archival quality ink (pigment based) and paper (acid free) for long lasting colours.
Shipment method: postal tube.
