8 Sided Shape Iteration with Perlin Noise (A3) – White ink on Red paper

2016 – 42 x 29.7cm (A3) – White on Red paper

Description

This series is a nod to the conventional pendulum-based drawing machines, as well as to the first computer artists in the 60’s, in particular DP Henry, who used analog computers to create similar artwork.
It has been drawn using a new program that creates a ‘random’ shape according to a determined number of sides, which is then iterated through cycles using a seemingly natural random algorithm created in the 90’s by Ken Perlin.

White ink pigment on acid free, red A3 paper (42 x 29.7cm).

All our drawings are made with archival quality ink (pigment based) and paper (acid free) for long lasting colours.

Shipment method: postal tube.
